Starbucks, Kootenay National Park, and Banff

Here I sit on Friday, June 10 in Starbucks in Banff, having been without wifi for the last 3 days.  Talk about withdrawal!

Wednesday, June 8.

Not far from our campground, we entered Kootenay National Park after buying a two year pass to all of Canada's National Parks--perhaps that means a return to the Maritimes next year?
Beautiful Kootenay N. P.

The entrance to Kootenay N.P. looks intimidating but
really is not bad at all.

This fox crossed the road in front of us and climbed the fence!

Leaving Kootenay, we entered Banff National Park where we would stay for the next 3 days with 30 amps and no water or sewer hook-ups.  Steve of course thinks this is just like tent camping. The view, however, is wonderful.   We spent the remainder of the day on Wednesday shopping and exploring the town of Banff and surroundings.  By the way,  we dared to put the slide out, and will hope for the best when it is time to put it back in.

At Bow Falls
A rainbow in the falls.
In Banff N.P.  there are forested overpasses where wildlife
can cross the highway in safety.
