The Best Laid Plans......

Today we all got up early in order to get started on our travels.  David and Jackie were headed to Port Clinton, Ohio (near Toledo) to visit Jackie's sister, and were to meet us on Wednesday in St. Ignace, MI (in the Upper Peninsula).  However, their driver's side slide refused to cooperate and would not come in!  Steve and David worked all morning on the slide and thought that a new motor was needed.  After many phone calls to various Newmar dealers, and finally moving the slide in using David's truck battery, they decided that what is needed is a slide controller .  One is now being shipped to our next campsite, and Jackie's sister will have to wait for their visit.  Meanwhile, Jackie and I enjoyed the beautiful day and hoped for the best.  We were lucky to be able to stay in this pretty campsite and rearrange our reservations in the UP.

Once the crisis was past, we had happy hour then went to dinner at Cracker Barrell.  Now it's time for Dancing With the Stars!
