It is a short trip from Talkeetna to Wasilla, but we had read about Miller's Market having the best ice cream in Alaska, so of course we had to stop there. We all agree that it is indeed the best we have had since getting here. David is on the mend, still not well, but well enough for ice cream. Poor Jackie had to miss this one.
Arriving at our campground, Alaskan Trails, we found that it is not an impressive place, but it has 50 amp service, and full hookups so we don't care. We headed out for a Walmart run, and David was able to go along with a long list from Jackie, who was still down and out.
